Grossmont Cuyamaca Community College District needed tools that would help comply with information sharing requirements.

The Business Need
Grossmont Cuyamaca Community College District (GCCCD) was awarded funds to improve and expand it campus system from Proposition R a $207 million bond measure. A condition of its award was forming the Citizens' Bond Oversight Board(CBOC), whose job is to report to the public the progress of the construction.

The Solution
The CBOC initially created a basic web site to relay reports and other information to the public. It was a time intensive process which required expertise in web design. SharePoint360 worked with GCCCD and CBOC to develop a system for sharing up-to-date reports, as well as announcing public hearings. A focus was placed on giving members the ability to update the content without needing any technical skills.

The Results
Improved information sharing with public reduced IT costs and turnaround times. It also allowwed for flexibility in managing content and reduced legal burden and risks.
