+ Performance and High-Availability:
At SharePoint360 we believe that performance and high-availability go hand-in-hand. We provide a high-performing, highly-available network and server infrastructure. We do this in many ways, some of which include:

1. High bandwidth Internet  connection to a Tier-1 Internet  Service Provider. We specifically chose our ISP based on peering agreements and their robust full OC-192 backbone.
2. Redundant server connections in a failover.
3. Web Server and Database replication for seamless failover.
4. The implementation of Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Power Generators and fully redundant power systems for continuous power delivery.

We have not only partnered with a world-class Internet  provider, we have also built a hosted solution that will meet the standards of any business that requires the highest level of performance, protection and availability.

+ Data Backup and Restore:
Data is one of the most valuable assets that a business retains. SharePoint360 fully recognizes the importance of data to all businesses and has implemented a backup and data recovery model that will ensure the quick and reliable recovery of any lost or corrupted data. All of our configurations, both network and server, are backed up on a daily basis. We archive all data and configurations to an HP tape storage device and store all tapes in a secure, disaster-averse location. We ensure that all data is secure during the entire backup process, from the server or database to the storage facility and back to restoration. We provide a series of backup retention offerings, ranging from one day to one year and more.

+ Security:
Although performance, high-availability and data backup/restoration are all very important to us, security is our first priority. We believe that security is achieved through the use of many protocols and processes in conjunction. The following security measures are some of the methods that we use to ensure a secure hosting environment:

1. The separation between external-facing web services and internal application-tier services through the use of Virtual LANs, firewall DMZs and access-lists.
2. On site physical security systems that are on-par with all major hosting providers, all of which is managed by 24x7 security services.
3. Optional SSL encrypted websites for businesses that require encrypted data transfers.
4. Optional SSL over VPN for businesses that require a secure “Sandbox” with encrypted data transfers for their websites.

We are constantly evaluating our security threats and taking action to address them with the sole purpose of providing piece-of-mind to not only our customers, but ourselves.

+ Monitoring and Incident Notification:
Many datacenters lack the proper monitoring and notification systems to ensure quick, decisive action should an incident occur. We have implemented a monitoring/notification system that allows us visibility into all integral hosting systems at both a high-level and an extremely granular level. We achieve this ability through the use of multi-perspective monitoring provided by some of the following technologies:

1. SNMP polling for network and server uptime, availability and bandwidth utilization monitoring.
2. Netflow data collection from our border routers to track network utilization by source, destination, protocol and application.
3. In-depth Web Server log analysis that gives us the ability to monitor website usage at a granular level.
4. Real-time incident notification system that uses redundant methods of communication to allow our team to respond to any incident quickly and decisively.

We design our hosting infrastructure with the goal of 100% uptime. We also realize that 100% uptime is not always possible, which is why we invest so much into our monitoring and incident notification systems. We want to be the first to know when there are any issues with any system in our hosting environment.
